“Before you decide, review your values.”
We all have wants, needs and desires. These feelings indicate what we value most. But, sometimes, wants, needs and desires come into conflict, and we must decide where to invest our time and attention.
No one can do everything at once. So, when a conflict arises, take the time to think about your long-term values before your make a decision about where to focus your energy.
Remember, when you focus on one thing, you often must let go of another (at least for the time being). Ultimately, you must go with the decision that supports your highest values, and will make you happiest, both now and in the future.
But, don’t delay. Fulfillment and joy await you, after a decision is made.

The pen they say, is mightier than a glistening sword.

Cuts the soul down to the quick, with this I'm in accord.

Putting pen to paper, with descriptive words in ink,

Choose rhyming words of substance is, harder than you think.

Words to me are very precious, so think before you say.

Whether from the mouth or heart, some words won't fade away.

Words can also heal you and build  up your self-esteem
given praise and confidence, to keep their hopes and dreams.

Words are said to lift one up, some words destroy or maim.
those words cannot return, from whatever source they came.

Take care in words your writing, place yourself within their shoes.
Let discretion be your guiding star, in the words you choose to use!

Bill Gates: How's heaven Steve?
Steve Jobs: Perfect, Bill. It's just that it doesn't have any fences or walls.
Bill Gates: So?
Steve Jobs: We don't need any WINDOWS or GATES.
A middle-aged man wasn't feeling well, so he went to the doctor for a check up.
After a thorough examination, the doctor said, "Well, based on my examination, the best thing for you is to cut out all sweets and fatty foods, give up alcohol, and stop smoking."
The man said, "Well, to be honest with you Doc, I don't deserve the best. What's the second best?"
A minister in a little church had been having trouble with the collections.

One Sunday he announced, "Now, before we pass the collection plate, I would like to request that the person who stole the chickens from Farmer Condill's henhouse please refrain from giving any money to the Lord. The Lord doesn't want money from a thief!"

The collection plate was passed around, and for the first time in months everybody gave.
