* REFLECTIONS 01-22-13

Somebody cares if you're happy today,
If your heart is cheerful and light.
Somebody cares if you're feeling good
And everything's going just right.
And somebody hopes this message will show,
In a warm little heart-to-heart way..
That you're thought of,
remembered,
and happily wished
a beautiful day!

I brought children
into this dark world
because
it needed the light
that only a child
can bring.

~Liz Armbruster

If all the beasts were gone,
men would die
from a great loneliness of spirit,
for whatever
happens to the beasts
also happens to the man.
All things are connected.
Whatever befalls the
Earth
befalls the sons of the Earth.

~Chief Seattle

Be grateful for the many options
to act tugging at you today.
Every choice you make
strengthens your world.

~ Unknown

Courage is asking for a time out,
to shed a tear,
to dust yourself off,
and then getting back in the
ring to fight
like you’ve never fought before.

Restlessness
and discontent
are
the first necessities
of progress.

~ Thomas edison

Yes, of course you’re busy.
Even so,
make time for more than just being busy.

This day will only be here once.
Make the time, while you can,
to do something unique and
memorable and valuable with it.

Certainly
there are many, many things you have to do.
Make time,
 each day,
to remember why.

Being busy is not the point of life.
Make the time,
use the time,
to be purposeful.

Show your love to someone special,
not merely with your words,
but with your time.
Instead of rushing right past life’s beauty,
make time to truly enjoy the wonders
with which this day is filled.

Make some time
that has real and lasting meaning.
Make some time,
today and every day,
to live and appreciate
the miracle that you are.
